We’re Sarah Taylor (29) and Andrew Wilson (31). We booked a Central Jaco Airbnb Vacation Rental and watched the week turn into a scrapbook. The beach felt like a long, steady breath—waves for morning, gold light for evening.

We pinned the days to four things: Jaco Vice Nightclub for dancing, Villa Caleta Sunset Happy Hour for views, Jungle Crocodile Safari Tour for stories, and Arigatos Sushi Restaurant because we earned it. Everyone we met was helpful and kind.

Herradura, Playa Hermosa, and a quick ride down to Esterillos filled the off-hours. Transport was easy and safe—Ubers and taxis in minutes, buses that made sense, drivers who didn’t mind a quick stop for photos.

Someone pointed out macaws above the palms, and suddenly the sky had color.

At night we drifted from music to casino lights to a quiet walk under the palms. It felt like Jaco was set to our frequency—enough energy to dance, enough calm to rest.

We’re heading home with lists for next time and friends we’d like to bring with us.
