My four were simple and perfect: Birdwatching on beach, Waterfall Tour in Bijagual, Soda Jaco Rustico Restaurant, and a sunset linger at Villa Caleta Sunset Happy Hour. People were kind and unhurried—an excellent combination.

Playa Hermosa’s waves, Herradura’s boats, and a day trip to Tarcoles rounded things out. Transport was easy and safe; I never felt out of place moving around on my own.

A vendor told me the tide schedule like a poem; I timed a walk to match it and felt strangely proud.

At night I made small choices—music here, a short casino visit there—and enjoyed the warm walk back.

Jaco is a gentle reset waiting for anyone who wants it. I did—and it worked.
