We’re Andrew Jackson (33) and Michelle White (31). We booked a Stylish Jaco Beach Airbnb Apartment and built a routine we didn’t want to break.

Our four: Paddle Boarded in Ocean, Jungle Crocodile Safari Tour, Amara Costa Rica Cocina Mediterranea, and a smooth late stop at Mynt Lounge Jaco. People everywhere were welcoming and helpful.

Herradura’s boats, Playa Hermosa’s waves, a peek at Esterillos—short rides, zero stress. Taxis and Ubers were fast; the bus felt easy and safe. We always felt comfortable walking back at night.

Someone pointed out macaws and then, as if on cue, they crossed the sky like red commas.

Nights ranged from mellow to dancey, with a little casino glow in the middle.

Jaco made it simple to be our best vacation selves. We’ll repeat this script soon.
