Herradura, Playa Hermosa, and a hop to Esterillos gave me variety without stress. Ubers, taxis, buses—it was all easy and felt safe.

A vendor taught me the names of two birds I kept seeing. Now I can’t unsee them.

Evenings were warm and low-effort: music, conversation, a little casino sparkle, and home.

Jaco was a soft landing I didn’t know I needed. I’ll be back for more.
